Talk iPhone - iPhone News Blog and Forums Gangstar Released for the Iphone August 21, 2009 at 12:18 pm Gameloft's highly anticipated gangster game Gangstar: West Coast Hustle is now available on the App Store! This game is a must for those that spent hours as Tommy Vercetti in the world of Grand Theft Auto Vice City. The game puts you in a complete 3D world modeled after Los Angeles with the looks of Hollywood, Santa Monica, South Central added to the game.  The game offers 50 different missions and a "unique feel of freedom" that allows you to drive for miles and miles. The graphics might be the best I've seen on the iPhone with unbelievable landscape detail and animations. Controls and Gameplay are made easy with the Auto Aim feature that allows you to tap the screen to lock on to the target. As of today Gangstar has a 4 1/2 star rating on the app star and lists for $6.99. Quote me on this because I think Gangstar could be the best iPhone Game of 2009! Post from: Talk iPhone 3G Gangstar Released for the Iphone Canadian iPhone 3GS Shortage Continues August 21, 2009 at 1:52 am While making a routine visit to Roger's website hoping new information regarding the iPhone 8GB 3GS might be posted I stumbled into something else I thought to be  very news worthy. Apparently the iPhone 3GS is in such high demand in Canada they are almost impossible to get. From what I've heard most back orders are getting filled within 1-2 weeks.  A statement on their website reads The Canadian launch of the iPhone 3GS has been a tremendous success. As such, Rogers has experienced high demand and has sold out of the iPhone 3GS in the vast majority of cities across the country at this time. New shipments of the iPhone 3GS will be available in the coming weeks and back orders will be filled on a priority basis. Customers wishing to purchase the iPhone 3GS are invited to check back online or with local Rogers stores regularly for further details. Liz Hamilton, a spokeswoman for Rogers, said "We are out of stock and still taking orders as our inventory continues to come in week to week," she said. "While we have continuous incoming inventory, we are filling back orders on a priority basis and we appreciate the enthusiasm and patience of our customers." The iPhone 3GS 16GB model retails for $199 CAD ($182 USD) with a three year contract.
